Organizations grow at the pace of their leaders. The Growth Board gives senior leaders what a good board gives a company: outside perspective, hard questions, and people who have done the job before. We train teams, coach executives, and convene senior leaders across organizations.
Most engagements start from one of two places: an organization with a capability gap, or an individual leader navigating a specific challenge.
For heads of function and enterprise leadership teams addressing a specific capability gap: in sales, in management, in execution.
For senior leaders working through a specific transition, decision, or standing set of peer relationships.
Skills-based development for teams, built around a specific organizational problem rather than a standardized module. Programs are scoped to the function and the outcome the organization is trying to reach.
Typical engagement: a defined cohort, a fixed curriculum, and a named outcome agreed with the sponsoring executive before the program begins.
Confidential, one-on-one coaching matched to a leader's current priorities rather than a fixed syllabus. Engagements are scoped around a specific mandate: a transition, a decision, or a sustained development goal.
Typical engagement: a coach assigned following an intake with the leader and their sponsor, with a defined review point at 90 days.
Structured forums that put senior leaders in a room with peers outside their own organization, and frequently outside their own industry. Formats range from single convenings to standing groups with a fixed cadence.
Typical engagement: membership in a standing council or circle, or a single seat at a scheduled roundtable or conference.
"The program was built around problems our team actually had, not a curriculum we had to adapt to."Chief Human Resources Officer, global manufacturing organization
We start by diagnosing what an organization or leader actually needs, then match the engagement to the right coaches, instructors, and faculty from a global network spanning industries and areas of specialism: operators first, teachers second.
The Growth Board is the parent community. The work above is carried out through five entities: the Institute (research and curricula), the Network (membership), the Leadership Series (programming), the Executive Circle (peer network), and Faculty (the people).
Published by the Institute ahead of use in any program.
